⚠️BURN BAN LIFTED August 1st 2026⚠️

The burn ban in Mount Wolf Borough has been lifted.
Please note: Even outside of a ban, Borough ordinance strictly limits what may be burned. Only seasoned, dry firewood is permitted in a certified Burn Container during normal (non-ban) conditions. The following are ALWAYS prohibited regardless of burn ban status:
❌ Trash, yard waste & debris
❌ Cardboard, newspaper & chipboard
❌ Treated or painted lumber
❌ Tires, rubber & clothing
❌ Grass, twigs & shingles
❌ Any material producing excessive or obnoxious smoke
⚠️ Violations are subject to fines of up to $1,000 per violation, per day, under Borough Ordinance No. 2022-04.
📌 NOTE: Portable outdoor grills and smokers fired by propane or charcoal and used for food preparation are exempt from this ordinance.
